ततोऽस्य वामबाहुं ते ममंथुर्भृशकोपिताः । तस्माच्च मथ्यमानाद्वै जज्ञे पूर्वमिति श्रुतिः

tato'sya vāmabāhuṃ te mamaṃthurbhṛśakopitāḥ | tasmācca mathyamānādvai jajñe pūrvamiti śrutiḥ

پھر انہوں نے سخت غضب میں اس کے بائیں بازو کو مَتھنا شروع کیا۔ اور اس مَتھن سے، روایت کے مطابق، سب سے پہلے ایک ہستی پیدا ہوئی۔
