पर्जन्योऽहं महाभागे त्वं वृष्टिः परमेश्वरि । अहं संवत्सरो देवि त्वमृतुः परिकीर्त्तिता
parjanyo'haṃ mahābhāge tvaṃ vṛṣṭiḥ parameśvari | ahaṃ saṃvatsaro devi tvamṛtuḥ parikīrttitā
اے نہایت بخت والی، میں پَرجنْیَ—بارش لانے والا بادل ہوں؛ اور تم، اے پرمیشوری، خود بارش ہو۔ اے دیوی، میں سنوتسر یعنی سال ہوں؛ اور تمہیں رِتُو، موسم کہا گیا ہے۔
