tasmiṃlliṃge layaṃ yāti jagadetaccarācaram | punastenaiva saṃbhūtaṃ dṛśyate sacarācaram
Śiva
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Somēśa/Somnātha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pārvatī (implied)
Scene: The universe—planets, beings, mountains—streams inward like sparks into a blazing Liṅga, then unfurls outward again as a renewed cosmos.
Śiva is presented as the ultimate ground where the cosmos dissolves and from whom it re-emerges—encouraging devotion to the Liṅga as the Supreme Reality.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, centered on the Somnātha (Somēśa) Liṅga.
No specific rite is stated here; the verse establishes metaphysical greatness of the Liṅga that underlies later pilgrimage merit.
