devatānāṃ gurūṇāṃ ca mātāpitrośca kāmataḥ | puṇyadaḥ samavāpnoti tadevāṣṭaguṇaṃ phalam

جو شخص دیوتاؤں، گروؤں اور ماں باپ کی خوشنودی کے لیے خوش دلی سے ثواب کی نذر دیتا ہے، وہی پھل آٹھ گنا بڑھ کر پاتا ہے۔
