सर्वे विषादमापन्ना बांधवाश्च परे जनाः । अशोभनमिदं वाक्यं कन्यया यत्प्रभाषितम् । इत्युक्त्वा तु गताः सर्वे जननीजनबांधवाः

Transliteration

sarve viṣādamāpannā bāṃdhavāśca pare janāḥ | aśobhanamidaṃ vākyaṃ kanyayā yatprabhāṣitam | ityuktvā tu gatāḥ sarve jananījanabāṃdhavāḥ

Translation

سب رشتہ دار اور دوسرے لوگ افسردہ ہو گئے اور بولے: “یہ بات جو اس لڑکی نے کہی ہے، نامناسب ہے۔” یہ کہہ کر ماں کے گھرانے والے اور سب قرابت دار روانہ ہو گئے۔
