तासां तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा दुःखार्तानां प्रजापतिः । ब्रह्मतेजः समायुक्तः पुत्रीस्नेहेन कर्षितः । जगाम यत्र ऋक्षेशो वचनं चेदमब्रवीत्
tāsāṃ tadvacanaṃ śrutvā duḥkhārtānāṃ prajāpatiḥ | brahmatejaḥ samāyuktaḥ putrīsnehena karṣitaḥ | jagāma yatra ṛkṣeśo vacanaṃ cedamabravīt
اپنی بیٹیوں کے غم سے بھرے ہوئے وہ کلمات سن کر پرجاپتی (دکش) — برہمنی تجلّی سے یکتا اور بیٹیوں کی محبت سے کھنچا ہوا — جہاں ستاروں کا مالک تھا وہاں گیا اور یہ بات کہی۔
