शतं सहस्रगुर्दद्यात्सर्वे समफलाः स्मृताः । सुशीला सोमसंपन्ना तरुणी च पयस्विनी । सवत्सा न्यायलब्धा च प्रदेया ब्राह्मणाय गौः

سو گنا یا ہزار گنا دکشنا کے ساتھ دان دیا جا سکتا ہے—یہ سب برابر پھل دینے والے کہے گئے ہیں۔ برہمن کو دی جانے والی گائے خوش خو، خوب پرورش یافتہ، جوان اور دودھ دینے والی، بچھڑے سمیت، اور جائز طریقے سے حاصل کی ہوئی ہونی چاہیے۔
