तस्माच्छ्रोत्रिय एवार्हो गुणवाञ्छीलवाञ्छुचिः । अव्यंगस्तत्र निर्दोषः पात्राणां परमं स्मृतम्
tasmācchrotriya evārho guṇavāñchīlavāñchuciḥ | avyaṃgastatra nirdoṣaḥ pātrāṇāṃ paramaṃ smṛtam
پس حقیقت میں صرف شروتریہ ہی لائق ہے—صاحبِ فضیلت، نیک سیرت اور پاکیزہ؛ عیب سے پاک اور بے داغ—وہی عطیہ قبول کرنے والوں میں اعلیٰ ترین سمجھا گیا ہے۔
