Transliteration

mānavasya prasaṃgena dhanyasya munisattamāḥ | caturviṃśatsahasrāṇi tatpurāṇamihocyate

Translation

اے بہترین رِشیو! مبارک مانَو (منو سے متعلق) قصّے کے ضمن میں، یہاں کہا گیا ہے کہ یہ پُران چوبیس ہزار شلوکوں پر مشتمل ہے۔
