अथ प्रतस्थे परशुं गृहीत्वा सत्यवान्वनम् । सावित्र्यपि च भर्तारं गच्छंतं पृष्ठतोऽन्वयात्

atha pratasthe paraśuṃ gṛhītvā satyavānvanam | sāvitryapi ca bhartāraṃ gacchaṃtaṃ pṛṣṭhato'nvayāt

پھر ستیہ وان کلہاڑا ہاتھ میں لے کر جنگل کی طرف روانہ ہوا، اور ساوتری بھی اپنے پتی کے پیچھے پیچھے چلتی ہوئی اس کے ساتھ گئی۔
