Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A righteous devotee stands in añjali before a radiant Sūrya icon/mandala, offering incense smoke, garlands, and sandal/unguents; a sage-like aura of Vasiṣṭha’s transmitted nāma-list frames the act as scriptural worship.
Devotion becomes complete when outer worship (pūjā) is joined with inner reverence and sacred name-praise (nāma-stuti) received through ṛṣi-tradition.
The worship occurs in the Prabhāsa-kṣetra setting established in the preceding verse, connected with a Sun-shrine tradition (Bhāskara/Citrāditya).
Pūjā with incense, garlands, and unguents, and praising Sūrya via a set of sixty-eight names attributed to Vasiṣṭha.
