छायोवाच । आ केशग्रहणाद्देवि आ शापान्नैव कर्हिचित् । आख्यास्यामि मतं तुभ्यं गम्यतां यत्र वांछितम्
chāyovāca | ā keśagrahaṇāddevi ā śāpānnaiva karhicit | ākhyāsyāmi mataṃ tubhyaṃ gamyatāṃ yatra vāṃchitam
چھایا نے کہا: "اے دیوی، جب تک میرے بال نہ پکڑے جائیں (زبردستی نہ کی جائے) یا مجھے بددعا نہ دی جائے، میں کبھی بھی اس راز کو فاش نہیں کروں گی۔ میں آپ کی مرضی پر چلوں گی، جہاں چاہیں جائیں۔"
