animittamahaṃ tāta bhāvadoṣavivarjitaḥ | śapto na me'tra vai kuddho durvāsā nānyathā vadet
Sāmba
Tirtha: Prabhāsa (implicit prāyaścitta destination)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Sāmba speaks to his father with composed restraint, palms slightly open in explanation; the atmosphere is sober, emphasizing acceptance rather than protest.
A sage’s utterance is treated as inexorable; Dharma teaches acceptance and transformation through penance rather than resentment.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra is the destination where the curse’s burden is addressed through worship and austerity.
No explicit ritual here; it affirms the authority of ṛṣi-vākya, prompting the later tapas.
