Transliteration

triḥsapta tarpayāmāsa pitṝṃstatra praharṣitaḥ | jamadagnau mṛte tena pratijñātaṃ mahātmanā

Translation

وہاں وہ شادمان ہو کر پِتروں کو تین بار سات، یعنی اکیس مرتبہ، ترپن کا جل چڑھاتا رہا۔ جب جمَدگنی قتل کیے گئے تھے تب اس مہاتما نے یہ پرتِگیا باندھی تھی۔
