ṣaṣṭivarṣasahasrāṇi bhāgīrathyavagāhane | sakṛdgodāvarīsnānātsiṃhasthe ca bṛhaspatau

Translation

بھاغیرتھی (گنگا) میں ساٹھ ہزار برس تک غوطہ لگانے کے برابر پُنّیہ—ایسا کہا گیا ہے کہ سِمھستھ کے وقت، جب بُرہسپتی سِنگھ راشی میں ہو، گوداوری میں ایک ہی بار اشنان سے حاصل ہوتا ہے۔
