Transliteration

mṛkaṃḍopi sutaṃ jñātvā tataḥ kṣīṇāyuṣaṃ nṛpa | paṃcavārṣikamapyārttaścakāropanayānvitam

Translation

اے راجا، مِرکنڈ نے بھی جان لیا کہ اس وقت اس کے بیٹے کی عمر بہت تھوڑی ہے؛ اس لیے وہ بے چین ہو کر پانچ برس کے بچے کا بھی اُپنَیَن سنسکار کر بیٹھا۔
