lepamānaya bhadraṃ te śiro'rthaṃ skanda satvaram | yenāyaṃ putrako me syādbhrātā te paradurjayaḥ
Pārvatī (Gaurī)
Tirtha: Arbuda-kṣetra (contextual)
Type: kshetra
Listener: nṛpa (king)
Scene: Pārvatī addresses Skanda urgently, asking him to bring more unguent to fashion a head, declaring the intended being as her son and Skanda’s invincible brother.
Divine will (śakti) shapes destiny; even creation and protection arise from the Goddess’s purposeful intention.
This verse is within the Arbuda (Mount Abu) narrative stream of the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa, rather than a direct tīrtha-phala verse.
No explicit ritual is prescribed here; it narrates preparation for forming a divine body and head.
