gaṇānāṃ tveti maṃtreṇa kṛtvā vai triḥ pradakṣiṇam | yastaṃ paśyati rājendra duritaṃ na sa paśyati
Pulastya (deduced from surrounding passage)
Tirtha: Vināyaka shrine (Arbuda)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rājendra (best of kings)
Scene: A devotee circles Vināyaka’s shrine three times, lips moving in mantra; attendants hold lamps; the atmosphere suggests a protective circle warding off misfortune.
Mantra-japa joined with pradakṣiṇā and darśana of Vināyaka is taught as a dhārmic means to avert sin and adversity.
The Vināyaka shrine/tīrtha setting described in Arbuda Khaṇḍa, where circumambulation is performed.
Recite the ‘gaṇānāṃ tvā…’ mantra and perform three pradakṣiṇās, then take Vināyaka’s darśana.
