देव्या आराधने यत्नं कृतवत्यौ ततः परम् । नाशार्थं पतिशत्रूणां धृतवत्यौ शुभव्रतम्

devyā ārādhane yatnaṃ kṛtavatyau tataḥ param | nāśārthaṃ patiśatrūṇāṃ dhṛtavatyau śubhavratam

اس کے بعد اُن دونوں نے دیوی کی عبادت میں پوری کوشش کی، اور اپنے شوہر کے دشمنوں کی ہلاکت کے لیے ایک مبارک ورت (نذر) اختیار کیا۔
