Transliteration

yadā tannirmitaṃ tatra puraṃ tena mahātmanā | tasya saṃrakṣaṇārthāya tadā sā sthāpitā dvijāḥ

جب اس مہاتما نے وہاں وہ شہر بسایا، تب—اے دو بار جنم لینے والو—اسی شہر کی حفاظت کے لیے اس دیوی کی پرتیِشٹھا کی گئی۔
