taddṛṣṭvā paramāścaryamatīva tvarayānvitaḥ | so'pi tatrākarotsnānaṃ saṃjātaśca yathā purā
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Type: kund
Scene: The sage, astonished and eager, steps into the lake; as he bathes, his aged, wrinkled body becomes youthful/previous again—mirroring the earlier reversal, with a calmer, reconciliatory tone.
Faith prompted by witnessing dharma’s fruits leads to immediate practice; the tīrtha rewards sincere action with renewal and auspiciousness.
The same lake-tīrtha in Nāgarakhaṇḍa Adhyāya 44, later connected with Viśvāmitreśvara.
Snāna (bathing) at the tīrtha, undertaken promptly upon recognizing its power.
