त्रिशंकुरुवाच । त्रिशंकुर्नाम भूपोऽहं सूर्यवंशसमुद्भवः । शप्तो वसिष्ठपुत्रैश्च चंडालत्वे नियोजितः
triśaṃkuruvāca | triśaṃkurnāma bhūpo'haṃ sūryavaṃśasamudbhavaḥ | śapto vasiṣṭhaputraiśca caṃḍālatve niyojitaḥ
تری شنکو نے کہا: ‘میں تری شنکو نامی راجا ہوں، سوریا وَنش سے پیدا ہوا۔ وشیِشٹھ کے بیٹوں نے مجھے شاپ دیا ہے اور مجھے چنڈال ہونے کی حالت میں مقرر کر دیا ہے۔’
