Sūta
Tirtha: Sarvakāma-phala-prada liṅga near Dhundhumāreśvara (Yayāti/queens association)
Type: temple
Listener: Dvāijāḥ—addressed explicitly; sages/audience
Scene: Devayānī and Śarmiṣṭhā stand beside Yayāti offering kalashas, flowers, and bilva leaves to the newly established liṅga; priests bless them; the shrine radiates ‘sarvakāma’ auspiciousness.
Pious acts performed with devotion—by kings and queens alike—are praised as capable of fulfilling righteous desires and generating sacred merit.
The same Dhundhumāreśvara-adjacent sacred area described in Adhyāya 39, where these foundations are implied.
Implied consecration/establishment connected with the king’s household, celebrated as sarvakāmaphalaprada (granting desired fruits).
