पंचम्यां शुक्लपक्षे तु मासि भाद्रपदे द्विजाः । यस्तान्पूजयते भक्त्या पुष्पधूपानुलेपनैः । विधिनानेन विप्रेन्द्राः सर्वानेव यथाक्रमम्

Transliteration

paṃcamyāṃ śuklapakṣe tu māsi bhādrapade dvijāḥ | yastānpūjayate bhaktyā puṣpadhūpānulepanaiḥ | vidhinānena viprendrāḥ sarvāneva yathākramam

Translation

اے دْوِجوں! بھادْرپد کے مہینے کی شُکل پکش کی پنچمی کو جو شخص بھکتی سے پھول، دھوپ اور چندن وغیرہ کے لیپ کے ساتھ، اس مقررہ وِدھی کے مطابق، اے برہمنوں کے سردارو، سب کی بترتیب پوجا کرتا ہے—وہ مذکورہ پُنّیہ پاتا ہے۔
