कारणं कथ्यतामाशु वह्नीन्द्रवसुभिर्युताः । देवा ऊचुः । दैत्यैः पराजितास्तात संगरेऽद्भुतकारिभिः
kāraṇaṃ kathyatāmāśu vahnīndravasubhiryutāḥ | devā ūcuḥ | daityaiḥ parājitāstāta saṃgare'dbhutakāribhiḥ
برہما نے فرمایا: “سبب فوراً بیان کرو”، جب کہ آگنی، اندر اور وَسُوؤں سمیت دیوتا سامنے کھڑے تھے۔ دیوتاؤں نے کہا: “اے محترم پدر! عجیب کرشمے دکھانے والے دَیتیوں نے ہمیں جنگ میں شکست دی ہے۔”
