वेदोक्तेन विधानेन तां कन्यां समयोजयत् । पाणिग्रहेण विधिना द्विजातिगणसंवृतः
vedoktena vidhānena tāṃ kanyāṃ samayojayat | pāṇigraheṇa vidhinā dvijātigaṇasaṃvṛtaḥ
ویدوں میں بتائے ہوئے طریقے کے مطابق اُس نے اُس کنیا کا سنجوگ (نکاح) کرایا۔ دوِجوں کے ہجوم میں گھرا ہوا، پाणی گرہن یعنی دلہن کا ہاتھ تھامنے کی درست رسم سے یہ کرم پورا ہوا۔
