गंगां स्मरति यो नित्यमुदपात्रसमीपतः । तद्गांगेयं जलं जातं तेन स्नानं समाचरेत्
gaṃgāṃ smarati yo nityamudapātrasamīpataḥ | tadgāṃgeyaṃ jalaṃ jātaṃ tena snānaṃ samācaret
جو شخص پانی کے برتن کے قریب رہ کر روزانہ گنگا کا سمرن کرے، وہ پانی گنگا جل بن جاتا ہے؛ اسی سے شاستری طریقے سے اسنان کرے۔
Skanda (deduced from Nāgarakhaṇḍa Tīrthamāhātmya narrative style)
Tirtha: Gaṅgā (smṛti-prāpta—attained through remembrance)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A devotee at dawn beside a small water pot (udapātra), eyes closed in Gaṅgā-smaraṇa; a subtle luminous stream symbolically descends into the vessel, making it Gaṅgā-jala; the devotee performs snāna with reverence.
Sacred remembrance (smaraṇa) carries transforming power, making devotion a bridge to tīrtha-merit even at home.
The Gaṅgā is glorified as the paradigmatic tīrtha whose sanctity can be invoked through remembrance.
Remember Gaṅgā near a water vessel and perform snāna using that water as Gaṅgā-jala.
