ततस्ते शस्त्रमुद्यम्य निर्जघ्नुस्तं क्रुधान्विताः । न शेकुस्ते यदा हंतुं संवृतं विष्णुतेजसा । कुण्ठतां सर्वशस्त्राणि गतानि विमलान्यपि

tataste śastramudyamya nirjaghnustaṃ krudhānvitāḥ | na śekuste yadā haṃtuṃ saṃvṛtaṃ viṣṇutejasā | kuṇṭhatāṃ sarvaśastrāṇi gatāni vimalānyapi

پھر وہ غضب میں ہتھیار اٹھا کر اس پر ٹوٹ پڑے؛ مگر وہ وشنو کے تیج سے گھرا ہوا تھا، اس لیے وہ اسے قتل نہ کر سکے۔ ان کے سبھی ہتھیار—اگرچہ بے داغ اور تیز تھے—کند ہو گئے۔
