अथानर्त्तो गृहं प्राप्य मृगावत्याः समाकुलः । तद्वृत्तं कथयामास यदुक्तं तेन भूभुजा । स्वभार्यायाः सुतायाश्च मन्त्रिणां दुःखसंयुतः
athānartto gṛhaṃ prāpya mṛgāvatyāḥ samākulaḥ | tadvṛttaṃ kathayāmāsa yaduktaṃ tena bhūbhujā | svabhāryāyāḥ sutāyāśca mantriṇāṃ duḥkhasaṃyutaḥ
پھر آنرت گھر پہنچ کر مِرگاوتی کے بارے میں بے چین ہو گیا۔ غمگین ہو کر اُس نے اپنی بیوی، اپنی بیٹی اور وزیروں کو سارا حال سنایا—جو کچھ اُس راجا نے کہا تھا۔
