क्षत्रियोऽपि पुरस्कृत्य देवदेवं पितामहम् । न चैकेन वसिष्ठेन तेनैतद्वैरमाहितम्
kṣatriyo'pi puraskṛtya devadevaṃ pitāmaham | na caikena vasiṣṭhena tenaitadvairamāhitam
اگرچہ وہ کشتریہ تھا، پھر بھی اس نے دیودیو پِتامہ برہما کو اپنا پیشوا و مقصود بنایا؛ اور یہ دشمنی صرف وسِشٹھ ہی کی طرف سے قائم نہ ہوئی، بلکہ اس کے اور بھی اسباب تھے۔
