puṣpa uvāca | ko'sau devaḥ kiyaddūre kasminsthāne vyavasthitaḥ | tathā ca devatā brūta dayāṃ kṛtvā mamopari
Puṣpa
Scene: Puṣpa, the inquirer, respectfully asks for the deity’s identity, distance, and exact seat, and requests compassion to explain the goddess too.
Dharma begins with humble inquiry—asking rightly about the deity, the place, and the proper object of worship.
The site is not named in this verse, but the inquiry leads into the description of Camatkārapura and its famed deity.
None; this is a request for directions and identification of the deity and goddess.
