kiṃ doṣaṃ vīkṣya me śakra prokṣitaṃ cāsanaṃ tvayā | paradvā rakṛtaṃ doṣaṃ kiṃ mayaitatkṛtaṃ kvacit
The maiden (kumārikā) addressing Śakra (Indra)
Listener: Indra (Śakra/Purandara)
Scene: The maiden challenges Indra: ‘What fault did you see in me that you sprinkled my seat?’ She gestures toward the seat and the doorway, demanding an explanation.
Dharma includes accountability: one may question ritual actions and demand clarity about alleged ‘fault’ or impurity.
No tīrtha is specified; the exchange occurs in relation to Indra’s assembly and ritual practice.
Prokṣaṇa/abhyukṣaṇa—sprinkling as a purification act—applied to the seat.
