के दारयामि यत्प्रोक्तं त्वया महिषरूपिणा । केदार इति नाम्ना त्वं ततः ख्यातो भविष्यसि
ke dārayāmi yatproktaṃ tvayā mahiṣarūpiṇā | kedāra iti nāmnā tvaṃ tataḥ khyāto bhaviṣyasi
“آپ نے بھینسے کے روپ میں جو فرمایا ہے، میں اسے سنبھالوں گا اور نبھاؤں گا۔ اسی سبب آپ ‘کیدار’ کے نام سے آگے چل کر مشہور ہوں گے۔”
