वदन्तीनां तया सार्धमेवं तासां द्विजोत्तमाः । चत्वारः पतयः प्राप्ता एकैकस्याः पृथक्पृथक्

vadantīnāṃ tayā sārdhamevaṃ tāsāṃ dvijottamāḥ | catvāraḥ patayaḥ prāptā ekaikasyāḥ pṛthakpṛthak

وہ اسی طرح اُس کے ساتھ گفتگو کر رہی تھیں کہ اتنے میں اُن تپسوی عورتوں کے شوہر—چار برگزیدہ دِوِج (برہمن)—آ پہنچے، اور ہر ایک اپنی اپنی بیوی کے پاس الگ الگ آیا۔
