खड्गांश्चैव च दुष्टात्मा दृष्ट्वा कांश्चिच्च पापवान् । पक्षिणोऽघातयत्क्रुद्धो ब्राह्मणांश्च विशेषतः

khaḍgāṃścaiva ca duṣṭātmā dṛṣṭvā kāṃścicca pāpavān | pakṣiṇo'ghātayatkruddho brāhmaṇāṃśca viśeṣataḥ

وہ بدکار گنہگار، جب کچھ خڑگ (گینڈے) دیکھتا تو انہیں بھی مار ڈالتا؛ اور غصّے میں پرندوں کو بھی قتل کرتا—اور خاص طور پر برہمنوں پر تو زیادہ ہی ہاتھ اٹھاتا تھا۔
