तं दृष्ट्वा विस्मिता सा च यावन्मुंचति कर्तिकाम् । तावन्निष्पीडिते कंठे मोक्तुं तस्मिन्न चाशकत्

taṃ dṛṣṭvā vismitā sā ca yāvanmuṃcati kartikām | tāvanniṣpīḍite kaṃṭhe moktuṃ tasminna cāśakat

اسے دیکھ کر وہ حیران رہ گئی؛ جب تک وہ کارتیکا کو نہ چھوڑتا رہا، تب تک گلا سختی سے دبا ہونے کے سبب وہ اپنے آپ کو اس سے چھڑا نہ سکی۔
