قدیم زمانے میں بہت سے راجاؤں نے اسی تیرتھ میں تپسیا، دان اور اَدھور (یَجْن) کو خوب طریقے سے انجام دیا؛ اور اسی سے انہوں نے اعلیٰ ترین سدھی حاصل کی۔
