harasiddhirdevasiddhirdharmasiddhiśca bhārata | vividhā prāpyate siddhistīrthe'smiṃścaṃḍikārataiḥ
Lomaharṣaṇa Sūta (deduced: Māheśvarakhaṇḍa narrative voice)
Tirtha: Caṇḍikā-tīrtha (implied)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Bhārata (addressed)
Scene: Pilgrims at a sacred ford/pond near a Devī shrine; above them, symbolic triad of siddhis: Śiva’s trident/third eye (Hara-siddhi), celestial devas with garlands (deva-siddhi), and a dharma emblem (balance/śāstra) signifying dharma-siddhi.
True siddhi is dharma-aligned and divinely grounded—devotion yields holistic success, not merely worldly gain.
“This tīrtha” connected with Caṇḍikā and Śiva, presented as a place granting multiple siddhis to devotees.
Bhakti to Caṇḍikā at the tīrtha (tīrtha-sevā and worship) is the implied prescription for attaining siddhi.
