धर्मतो धनमाहार्य यष्टव्यं चापि यत्नतः । हीनेभ्योपि न युंजीत त्वंकारं कर्हिचिद्बधः । त्वंकारो वा वधो वापि गुरूणामुभयं समम्
dharmato dhanamāhārya yaṣṭavyaṃ cāpi yatnataḥ | hīnebhyopi na yuṃjīta tvaṃkāraṃ karhicidbadhaḥ | tvaṃkāro vā vadho vāpi gurūṇāmubhayaṃ samam
دولت دھرم کے راستے سے حاصل کرنی چاہیے اور یَجْن بھی کوشش و اہتمام سے کرنا چاہیے۔ کم تر لوگوں کے ساتھ بھی حقارت بھری ‘تو!’ والی زبان کبھی نہ برتو—یہ ‘تْوَمْکار’ بھی ایک طرح کی اذیت ہے۔ اور گروؤں کے حق میں گستاخانہ خطاب ہو یا حقیقی قتل، دونوں کی سنگینی یکساں ہے۔
