Transliteration

aṣṭottamāni catvāri madhyamāni vidhānataḥ | kānīyasāni śeṣāṇi trividhatvamidaṃ viduḥ

قاعدے کے مطابق آٹھ ‘اعلیٰ’ ہیں، چار ‘درمیانے’؛ اور باقی ‘کمتر’ ہیں۔ یوں اہلِ دانش اس کو تین درجوں کی درجہ بندی سمجھتے ہیں۔
