guṇatrayamayaṃ śūlaṃ śūlī yasmādbibhārte saḥ | abaddhāḥ sarvato muktā bhūtā eva ca tatpatiḥ
چونکہ وہ تین گُنوں سے بنا ہوا ترشول دھارتا ہے، اس لیے وہ ‘شُولی’ یعنی ترشول بردار کہلاتا ہے۔ اور چونکہ بھوت/جاندار حقیقت میں بے بندھن اور ہر سمت سے آزاد ہیں، اس لیے وہ اُن کا بھی پتی، یعنی آقا ہے۔
