वित्रेसुर्दुद्रुवुर्जघ्नुर्निपेतुश्च सहस्रशः । एवं विलुलिते तस्मिन्दानवेन्द्रे महाबले

vitresurdudruvurjaghnurnipetuśca sahasraśaḥ | evaṃ vilulite tasmindānavendre mahābale

وہ دہشت زدہ ہو گئے—کچھ بھاگ نکلے، کچھ نے وار کیے، اور ہزاروں گر پڑے۔ یوں وہ مہابلی دانَوَندَر (دانوؤں کا سردار) سخت ہلچل میں ڈال دیا گیا۔
