स च दैत्येश्वरः क्रुद्धः समारूढो महारथम् । दशभिः शुशुबे दैत्यैर्दशबाहुरिवेश्वरः । जगद्धंतुं प्रवृत्तो वा प्रतस्थेऽसौ सुरान्प्रति
sa ca daityeśvaraḥ kruddhaḥ samārūḍho mahāratham | daśabhiḥ śuśube daityairdaśabāhuriveśvaraḥ | jagaddhaṃtuṃ pravṛtto vā pratasthe'sau surānprati
اور دَیتیوں کا وہ سردار غضب ناک ہو کر عظیم رتھ پر سوار ہوا۔ دس دَیتیوں کے حلقے میں وہ یوں دمکا گویا دس بازوؤں والا ربّ ہو؛ جیسے دنیا کو مٹا دینے پر تُلا ہو، وہ دیوتاؤں کے مقابل روانہ ہوا۔
