संवर्त उवाच । अहमप्येवमेवास्य कर्ता तेन स्वयं कृतम् । तद्ब्रूत कार्यं नैवात्र चिरं स्थास्यामि वः कृते
saṃvarta uvāca | ahamapyevamevāsya kartā tena svayaṃ kṛtam | tadbrūta kāryaṃ naivātra ciraṃ sthāsyāmi vaḥ kṛte
سَموَرت نے کہا: “میں نے بھی یہی سمجھا تھا کہ ‘یقیناً اس کا کرنے والا میں ہوں’؛ مگر یہ تو اُس نے خود ہی کر دیا۔ پس بتاؤ اب کیا کرنا ہے؛ تمہاری خاطر بھی میں یہاں زیادہ دیر نہیں ٹھہروں گا۔”
