अवध्याश्च स्त्रियः सृष्टा मन्यंते धर्मचिंतकाः । तस्माद्धर्मेण धर्मज्ञ एष वादो मनीषिणाम्
avadhyāśca striyaḥ sṛṣṭā manyaṃte dharmaciṃtakāḥ | tasmāddharmeṇa dharmajña eṣa vādo manīṣiṇām
اہلِ دھرم کا خیال ہے کہ عورتیں ‘اَوَدھیا’ یعنی قتل نہ کیے جانے کے لیے پیدا کی گئی ہیں۔ پس اے دھرم کے جاننے والے، داناؤں کی یہی دلیل آمیز بات ہے کہ دھرم کے مطابق ہی دھرم کی پیروی ہو۔
