Skanda (narrating)
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Scene: At the doorway of a nest-like fort/stronghold, the pigeon—now resolute—faces the hawk; the wife-bird stands slightly behind, wings lifted in encouragement, creating a tableau of courage born of counsel.
Courage can be awakened through righteous counsel; taking refuge in one’s dharmic ‘stronghold’ and resisting injustice becomes an act of moral recovery.
No specific tirtha is named in this verse; it continues the illustrative moral narrative within the Kāśīkhaṇḍa.
