sa ca bāṇastayā devyā nija bāṇairmahājavaiḥ | nivāritopi vegena tāṃ devīmabhyagānmune

مگر وہ تیر—اگرچہ دیوی نے اپنے نہایت تیز رفتار تیروں سے اسے روک دیا تھا—پھر بھی اپنی قوت کے زور سے، اے منی، اسی دیوی کی طرف لپکا۔
