tatra labdhaṃ mayaiśvaryamavināśi mahattaram | cakrapuṣkariṇī caiva khyātābhūnmaṇikarṇikā
وہیں میں نے نہ فنا ہونے والی اور نہایت عظیم حاکمیت و شان پائی۔ اور وہی چکرپشکرِنی “منیکرنیکا” کے نام سے مشہور ہو گئی۔
Skanda
Tirtha: Maṇikarṇikā (formerly stated as Cakrapuṣkariṇī)
Type: ghat
Scene: A reveal scene: the pond/tīrtha is shown with a name-banner transformation—Cakrapuṣkariṇī becoming Maṇikarṇikā. A radiant, imperishable ‘aiśvarya’ is symbolized as an unextinguishing lamp or akṣaya flame above the waters, with Kāśī’s ghāṭ architecture around.
Kāśī’s tīrthas are not merely locations but divine seats where imperishable spiritual sovereignty is affirmed.
Maṇikarṇikā—identified here with the earlier Cakrapuṣkariṇī.
This verse gives the tīrtha’s identity and fame; the surrounding passage frames the practice as snāna, worship, and offerings at Kāśī tīrthas.
