पठतो मे गतः कालस्तथोपार्जयतो धनम् । नाराधितो महेशानः कर्मनिर्मूलनक्षमः
paṭhato me gataḥ kālastathopārjayato dhanam | nārādhito maheśānaḥ karmanirmūlanakṣamaḥ
‘میرا وقت پڑھنے میں گزر گیا، اور اسی طرح دولت کمانے میں بھی؛ مگر مہیشان، جو کرم کو جڑ سے اکھاڑ دینے پر قادر ہے، میں نے اس کی آرادھنا نہیں کی۔’
