कद्रु त्वया जितं भद्रे यत उच्चैःश्रवा हयः । चंद्ररश्मिप्रभोप्येष कल्माष इव भासते
kadru tvayā jitaṃ bhadre yata uccaiḥśravā hayaḥ | caṃdraraśmiprabhopyeṣa kalmāṣa iva bhāsate
“اے کَدرو، بھدرے! تو جیت گئی، کیونکہ اُچّیَہ شروَا گھوڑا یقیناً تیرا ہے۔ اگرچہ اس میں چاند کی کرنوں جیسی چمک ہے، پھر بھی یہ کَلمَاش کی طرح دھبّے دار دکھائی دیتا ہے۔”
